I also can see other receivers getting cut. The teams have to be in cap compliance the rest of the year. I also believe improve guard play and less talented receivers will get open. An extra half a second for Joe Burrow is huge. He has proven he sees the field well while under duress.
There will be cap casualties, of course, but no one of his caliber (or even close) as WR is now one of the league’s premier positions. Elite WR are not cap casualties.
