Best thing I can suggest is if the offseason is unsatisfactory, just don't watch games unless/until they start doing well or make the playoffs.

For real. I just don't understand if being a "fan" of this team makes you as miserable as it appears it makes some one here, why watch. There are 31 other teams to support. There are other sports. If it makes you unhappy, then quit watching. Personally, I like it when they win, but this is my hometown team that I have supported since 1968. And this is one of my favorite groups of players from all that time. No way I'm boycotting anything.
