Ojulari was an option for them only if Ossai didn't return, but he shouldn't have been viewed as a rebound signing if they were really interested. No reason they couldn't have chosen him over Ossa and seemed to have a plan in this process other than that plan being a "backup signing".
Well, you/I say no reason but they have their reasons, obviously.Problem is there's an ingrained stench that permeates from the Bengals FO that we've all breathed for years and years. But, without us knowing all the why's/why nots behind closed doors regarding every topic or point of discussion, I won't allow myself to just assume worst-case scenario with everything going on as if they're clueless on it all. It always takes two (many times three) to tango.
