It's most likely a difference of about $2m at best. That's the price of decent but not great TEs these days.

Tyler Higbee in 2023 (age 30) got $8.5m/yr
Hunter Henry in 2024 (age 30) got $9m/yr
Noah Fant in 2024 (age 27) got $10.5m/yr
Dalton Schultz in 2024 (age 28) got $12m/yr
Pat Freiermuth in 2024 (age 26) got $12.1m/yr

Remember back in '22 Uzomah got $8m/yr heading into his age 29 season and Hurst got $7.25m/yr heading into his age 30 season going into '23. Salaries are going up with the cap going up over those 3 years. 

Keeping Gesicki is going to probably cost you around $9m/yr.
