Thought in the offseason the Bengals could survive the loss of Higgins more than Boyd because we still had our #1 in Chase but we don't have anyone who could just be a very reliable middle-of-the-field intermediate depth first down generator. Still can't believe we let Boyd sign for $2.4m elsewhere after neither Yoshi or Jones did much, and I didn't believe that Burton in his rookie year was going to be able to out-produce Boyd.
the front office illogically thinks something like..
"we drafted a 4th round and 6th round receiver to be our Boyd replacement. Period. Doesnt matter if theyre not ready to produce yet"
