Sucks that he's having to do surgery, but it sounds like he's going to do a procedure that should expedite his recovery timeline to just 4-6 weeks.
If that pans out as expected, he should be able to come back before the end of the CFB regular season, and definitely back by the time Georgia would (likely) be playing in the CFP.

Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs
Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
