But, he went on to explain it in that the defense can play loose knowing Joe is going to ball out and if they make a mistake on D, Joe will score when they get teh ball back to him. It lets them play faster and looser than if they were worried about messing up and letting the other team score. I think there is some validity in that.
Partially….I listened to a podcast and they said the intelligence level of the defense is ridiculous. They quoted a player and he said it has allowed Lou to have a ton of schemes that they don’t forget and don’t get confused. They know them and can execute them. It also gives them an ability to make major adjustments the second half when most teams can’t go that far.
And I hear it’s part of the drafting and free agent focus of requiring very intelligent players
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.
