To be fair, a 60-69 PFF rating doesn't mean "suck," it means average starter.
70-79 is above average.
80+ is elite.
In the case of Bates, as Synric pointed out, he's not able to make as many impactful plays compared to last year because of the improvement of guys up front, so any problems he has shown on the field have been magnified.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs
Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
