Personally I haven't called Ja'Marr a bust and have stated anyone who has is clueless. I did poke fun when I saw a poor performance last night and a couple "drops" looked like catching the ball was about the 3rd thing on his mind.
Some folks are just too sensitive. I've also poked fun of Penei Sewell this Preseason; is it OK to do that?
It's just a joke, I'm wearing that clown makeup too, I find it hard to believe a #5 pick is struggling to catch the ball even in practice, he's also not getting separation in practice, but I expect that considering no Bengals WR has gotten separation for about 7-8 years (since AJ green was younger).
He said it's mental, hope he clears it up quick, he's not a big WR, maybe he's scared when he sees all the NFL players are as big and fast as only a handful of his collegiate competition.
