I did love the fact that he accidentally hits him. Coaches are pulling aside, players are having one on one's with him letting him know we can't do that. Then we are just perfectly fine rolling Lucas Patrick out there looking terrible. Don't touch him in practice he's gonna get destroyed in games bad enough.

hmmm... the video cuts out as he heads towards him low, but cant tell how far he was.. did he level up, tackled him at the knees, etc? If he went for the knees... coaches need to sit him out. If he went high and push tackled him, its fine no need for a fight, if he bear hugged him to the ground, he needs to sit out.

I think he just brushed by him. Burrow never went down. Burrow said he needs to get hit to feel game speed, well there ya go!

I know this is old but something we haven't discussed in this thread at least is the reaction of the Oline. Someone has lit into them for always letting Burrow take a beating and not even helping him up after. No fight from previous lines when Burrow took late hits. Not that you'd want a flag, but the previous lines did absolutely nothing. Just kinda looked at him getting up with their hands on their hips in defeat...

Baltimore hit Burrow late time and time again and the refs allowed it. Again I know it could lead to a flag and in a close game that isn't what we want, but Whit would have gotten into someone's face and at least caused a slight scene. Let them know he wouldn't stand for the late hits.

And it was Patrick who initiated the payback....

That’s funny
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Media said it looked like Joe would have taken a hit to the midsection if that was in a game situation

I've flown back to CVG to look after my folks for a week. They're knocking on 90, and they're in decline. Thanks for a badly needed laugh!
