Rank our TEs 2025 - bfine32 - 06-19-2025 We close out our 2025 Ranking today with G-Sticky and the boyz. Where we got the trio of G-Sticky-Sample-Hudson? Drew Sample is a good blocker but is not a good pass catcher and Hudson isn't a good blocker but is a decent pass catcher in the Zone. Gesicki is a WR pretty much, but if we consider him a TE I would of ranked us mid tier, but I don't consider him a TE. If All was healthy we would be much higher, but he isn't. RE: Rank our TEs 2025 - SouthernFan - 06-22-2025 Right now I don’t think the TE room is settled. McLachlan is still an unknown and he or Grandy might beat out Hudson for TE3. Gesicki keeps them out of the bottom ranking, but can’t put them higher than 21. RE: Rank our TEs 2025 - Millhouse - 06-22-2025 Mid 20s I guess even with Gesicki being more of a WR. If they could have an overall tight end than can be both a receiving threat and can block, I would definitely vote higher. RE: Rank our TEs 2025 - J24 - 06-22-2025 I think were better than people think at TE. Went 13-20! RE: Rank our TEs 2025 - Synric - 06-22-2025 I'm probably a harsh grader on thenTE group. There's just no versatility and limited range in the run game. RE: Rank our TEs 2025 - phil413 - 06-23-2025 (06-22-2025, 10:17 PM)Synric Wrote: I'm probably a harsh grader on thenTE group. I think he will have a bigger year but yeah I've got them barely in the 4th group. RE: Rank our TEs 2025 - Luvnit2 - 06-23-2025 Gesicki is listed as a TE thus I include him in our TE group. I think he is a very good pass catching TE creating major mismatches due to his skills, but also put him on the field with Chase, Tee and Yoshi and most LB's or safeties can't cover him leaving CB 3 or CB left to do it. My issue is we don't have a complete TE like Kelcie or Kittle who are great pass catchers and aslo very good inline blockers so an offense has more ability to use play action, run or pass keeping the defense on its heels. I know many fans hate Sample, but he by far is our best blocking TE, he is just heavy footed and a liabiity in our pass game. I liked we drafted 2 TE's in 2024, Ali was off to a good start until injury. The wild card is 2nd year McLachlan. Maybe hecan step up in 2025 and improve the TE room. I ranked them in the bottom 3rd tier. RE: Rank our TEs 2025 - bfine32 - 06-23-2025 Top 5: LVR BAL ARZ KCC BUF RE: Rank our TEs 2025 - psychdoctor - 06-23-2025 It seems that all of our position groups rank in the lower quadrant... with exception of WR, QB, maybe LB. He is not rhe best route runner. He is more of a straight line only guy. It's undeniable that he fits well with Burrow though because Gesicki is very good at using his length and Joe has the best ball placement in the NFL. He isn't an Eifert route runner that is for sure. But I expect a big year from Mike G now that Burrow and him have chemistry. At his size and length with his athleticism he should score a lot more than 2 TD's this year. This was surprising when I saw his stats last season. |
