RANK OUR IOL (2025) - bfine32 - 06-04-2025 So far, we’ve rated the following: QB (2-3/ 59%) EDGE (Tie 11-16 & 17-22/ 31%) WR (1-2/ 77%) SAF (25-32/87%) RB (12-18/53%) DT (20-25/50%) OT (11-17/71%) ILB(13-17/58%) Time to go back to the 0 and rank our men in the middle. I’ll list each team’s 3 starters and first off the bench; for us, that’s Ted, Patrick, Dylan, and Volson. There’s a chance that this may change depending on what we do with Rivers, but it shouldn’t significantly affect the ranking. And I picked 23-27, but I think they will end off the year higher than that :) RE: RANK OUR IOL 92025) - Nicomo Cosca - 06-04-2025 Turrible RE: RANK OUR IOL 92025) - TecmoBengals - 06-04-2025 In the year 92025 I predict we'll still have a bad IOL. RE: RANK OUR IOL 92025) - WeezyBengal - 06-04-2025 The good news is that it's going to be very, very hard to be worse than last year. RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 06-04-2025 (06-04-2025, 12:34 PM)WeezyBengal Wrote: The good news is that it's going to be very, very hard to be worse than last year. True. I like Dylan Fairchild for the future for sure but he will be a rookie. Patrick has trouble staying healthy as well so I went 23-27 but once Fairchild gets his feet wet and if Patrick can stay healthy we could be much better by midseason and better than last year where we were one of if not THE worst IOL in the NFL. Patrick has trouble staying healthy as well so I went 23-27 but once I agree with you for the most part but I think we were 32 but I can't honestly slot green Fairchild and fringe level Patrick at 27 today. Even if we justify that our depth is sort of more proven than other teams (Volson, Ford, Lee) but can someone make a case for 5 teams worse that us? Other teams have hope for their rookies, have guys getting healthy, trust their coaching staff, we aren't unique. I'm doing my best to check my bias on this position group stopping us from a SB win, but I can't move from being bitter at the FO all the way to seeing what they never fixed as being the 27th best IOL in the league. I think Ted makes us better than around 5 teams, he is solid and should be much better with better Guard play around him. Patrick's PFF grades were way higher in both pass and run blocking for the Saints than Cappa and Volson. The question is can Patrick stay healthy. I guess I just really like the Fairchild and even Rivers picks. I think Fairchild will definitely be better than what we saw from Volson last season. I think we are upgraded, the question is how much? RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - jason - 06-04-2025 I've heard of maybe 12 guys on that list... Still fairly certain we're worse than most of em. RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - Joelist - 06-04-2025 It's kinda hard to rank right now. Depending on camp battles we could be starting Fairchild and Rivers or any number of other combinations. I suspect it will start rougher then settle down as they get used to playing together. RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - Luvnit2 - 06-04-2025 I think in 2024 we were dead last in the interior. Only Karras was respectable albeit not great. I think we will have some early struggles, but by end of the yeaar be closer to 20 than 30. I rated 23 to 27 overall, but like I said closer to 20 by second half of the yeat and possibly as high as 16. I think or young guards will surprise us in 2025 and one will start and have better numbers than a vet we paid a lot of money to in 2024 Cappas. My other surprise is Volson will get coached up and improve his numbers by 12 to 15 points againts the pass making him average, but a lot better than poor. RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - TheFan - 06-04-2025 We don't know who either of our guards will be. It will either be rookies or players we know are bottom tier guards in the league. Can't go anything less than bottom 5 at this point. RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - bfine32 - 06-04-2025 (06-04-2025, 09:40 PM)TheFan Wrote: We don't know who either of our guards will be. RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - ERIC1 - 06-06-2025 Didnt we have the 6th best offense in the league..line must have been doing enough right RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - 3wt - 06-06-2025 I'm going 22-16. I know. it's that time of year. But I think the addition of Scott Peters upgrading our current linemen - including Ford and Volson - combined with the upside of Fairchild, Patrick and Rivers is going to surprise people. We will start off slow, but end up in the 22-16 range. RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - Synric - 06-06-2025 I'm going 23-27 because Ted Karras is a solid starting Center... other than that it's a massive question mark with 2 new starters at Guard. Although the penciled starters being a career back-up and a 3rd round rookie doesn't inspire alot confidence. RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - bfine32 - 06-07-2025 TOP 5: PHI KCC CLV NOS ATL RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - bengalfan74 - 06-07-2025 (06-04-2025, 12:00 PM)Truck_1_0_1_ Wrote: This a Beverly Hills Poll? Agree RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - SouthernFan - 06-07-2025 As an eternal Bengals fan optimist, I went with the middle of the road 16-22. Hopefully, Zac comes through with the promise to get the team ready for a fast start this year. With probably two new starters on the O-line, they will need as many preseason snaps as possible. RE: RANK OUR IOL (2025) - JaggedJimmyJay - 06-07-2025 Better than it looks, still below average. 16-22 |
