I think this is hilarious because he was expected to go top five and then slides all the way to the 5th, which the Browns take him when they already had taken a QB in the third(?), which is hysterically stupid.
I'm wondering how much money he lost just on draft day.
This site says that he'll lose out on more than 40 million, but that's just on this contract, and you have to wonder how many million he'll lose on endorsements and jersey sales.
Not to mention that. unless he wins the QB battle in preseason, which seems unlikely, he won't get much playing time and won't set himself up to get a big contract when he hits free agency (or gets re-signed) after this contract.
I'd say that, between future contracts and endorsements, he lost at least a hundred million.
To be clear, his old man has 45 million, so not like he'll end up homeless, but I'm just wondering how much he lost and how bad this has to mess with him mentally.
