Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi? - Housh - 04-09-2025 Been doing 3 a days since FEBRUARY and is 220lbs now and claims he’s moving better than he was last season at a lighter weight. Jermaine Burton ain’t never seeing the field lol https://youtu.be/nYX_PFrDzBc?si=_Mn1yMcpU-btGidh RE: Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi? - Isaac Curtis: The Real #85 - 04-09-2025 (04-09-2025, 11:16 AM)Housh Wrote: Been doing 3 a days since FEBRUARY and is 220lbs now and claims he’s moving better than he was last season at a lighter weight. While Yoshi ranked 98th out of 98 ranked WR's at PFF last year with a 52.7 grade, 6 TDs is nothing to scoff at. And he did make a leap. Going from not playing to being WR3 (or WR4 if you count Gesicki as a WR). He played 892 snaps on O last year, up from 266 the year before. That is progress. I think expecting a further leveling up is reasonable. He is smart & has a great work ethic. A great athletic profile. And a track guy who came late to football. While I could see a WR/TE pick at some point (Warren/Loveland early, Ferguson/Evans late, Bech/Johnson mid, or a late WR), I think the team is happy with Yoshi as WE3/4. Now, Burton & Chuck Sizzle could be in trouble, roster wise. Williams, too. RE: Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi? - WeezyBengal - 04-09-2025 Yoshis athleticism and body have never really been the issue. It's his route running, football IQ, and hands. Right. And Yoshi is going into his 3rd year, which is when WR's are expected to come into their own. I don't think he'll ever have the numbers here he could have elsewhere simply because of Chase and Higgins. RE: Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi? - bfine32 - 04-09-2025 "Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi?" Who else would Lap's do a Yoshi interview with? WTS, I love Yoshi. He hasn't made the impact I hoped he would especially when Tee went down last year, but it's not from lack of effort/focus. RE: Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi? - jj22 - 04-09-2025 I may be misreading this but Yoshi weighed more than 220? Edit: I get it now. His football IQ is fine, one reason the bengals drafted him they were impressed with his football iq and that is why he is able to play multiple positions .. his route running is the area of improvement, his hands are solid make some great contested catches, he probably needs to focus a bit more on the easier catches.. RE: Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi? - Truck_1_0_1_ - 04-09-2025 Iosivas is still my favourite pick of that draft: if anyone knows Romanians that are involved with athletics, they are incredible specimens, probably due to a mix of all the peoples they are surrounded by, as well as their Roman blood (like us Italians): as time has gone on, they haven't applied themselves (trust me, it's almost an epidemic with how lazy and alcoholic they are in modern day and that's ETHNIC Romanians, not Gypsies/Romanis, who are seemingly worse), so they've lagged in all the sports they used to dominate in, but the genes are the genes. He has some Japanese ethic in him, even if not in his blood and he's half Filipino, who are completely tough as nails people: they party hard and then work a 12 hour shift the next day without breaking a sweat. He's got impeccable genes. All moulded into that, plus a great brain because he's an Ivy Leaguer, I had no doubt he'd be a solid or better player for us. Hopefully he can make yet another step this year and we can have another Migos situation, with 2, 1,000 yard guys and a 700-900 yard guy. With 30 TDs between them as well. And I despise Nintendo and the name Yoshi, makes me sick lol. Yoshi is certainly working his ass off sounds like and he made good strides last year in catching the ball with his hands. He needs to run more dependable routes and be where Joe needs to him to be, but I could see him getting much better this season. Mike Gesicki being back could stall his growth a bit as I see him being the 3rd WR behind Ja'Marr and Tee, but Yoshi could come in for one of the starters and do alright if needed and it wouldn't surprise me. Yoshi needs to up his production and Mike G needs to up his TD's. I like that Yoshi scores TD's, this matters big time. Yep agreed. He went to Princeton. Dude is smart. He just played against poor competition in football (Ivy League) and didn't have to develop some of the nuances that others in more demanding conferences do because of it. Dude is a 6th round pick and people are crapping on him after just 2 years. We shouldn't have a hope any 6th round pick becomes more than a ST player, let alone being a significant contributor by Year 2/3, but Iosivas is. He's surpassed expectations in my book. RE: Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi? - NATI BENGALS - 04-09-2025 I was reading the mothership article yesterday. I didn’t realize Yoshi was scoring TDs at a better rate than Chris Henry. That’s impressive RE: Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi? - Frank Booth - 04-09-2025 Yoshi's Dave Lapham interview with Yoshi RE: Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi? - Soonerpeace - 04-09-2025 I’m expecting an uptick from Gesicki & Isovias. They’ve gained Joe’s confidence and that alone will result in more opportunities. If the OL can just be a top 15 OL overall this offense hits the stratosphere. There’s too many mismatches including Chase Brown but the offense has been limited and needs more developing routes in the route tree. Every little thing adds up to a better player in the game. Don't get me wrong, I'm not of a mind that Iosivas will ever be a superstar, but if he can become a reliable option when needed, that is good on this offense. RE: Yall seen Yoshi’s Dave Lapham’s interview with Yoshi? - michaelsean - 04-09-2025 98 out of 98? Damn there’s a lot of bad receivers graded ahead of him.
