Ja'Marr AFC Offensive Player of the Week - pally - 12-11-2024

This surprises me. I would have thought JOsh Allen would have won it with his 6 touchdowns. This Ja'Marr's 4th time receiving this

LOVE the recognition he's getting and love that he's putting up this kind of season when he's playing for a new contract!

Thanks for making me look like a brain dead genius in picking you over Jefferson in my league that matters because you have over 70 more points than him!

My only mistake was taking Jordan Love instead of Burrow (was taken the pick after me)!

Yeah, a little surprised Ja'Marr got it over Josh myself. But Congrats Ja'Marr on having another damn good game. Cool

I think it's because Allen's weren't all that impressive: three were QB sneaks from inside the 1, one was a screen that the back took to the house, one was a crossing route that the receiver ran sixty(?) yards with, and then one was a fade route, which was a nice throw, but nothing too impressive.

Not all stats are created the same.

Yeah but he was the first player to have 3 passing and 3 receiving tds in a game. NFL likes to reward stuff like that

I think it was more likely that he win the award in week 13

I saw somewhere where it said his end of the year schedule was cake and he finished last year strong, so I was thinking "well, if I can get to the end of the year with a decent record and make the playoffs, Love will destroy them since he comes on late and has an easy schedule!"

The thing is, I think it was a scouting report for last year's pre-draft report........ lol.

I took him a round (at least) early too!

Actually, that wasn't my only mistake because I also took three receivers with my first three picks (Chase, AJ Brown, Mike Evans) when we only start 2 (plus a flex). 

They haven't been bad, though, and I got a few steals in Rico Dowdle late (few big games), Bowers (best TE in ff this year), Josh Jacobs (#6 back) and James Connor (top 15).
