Trey really doesn’t have that much leverage here. Same for Shemar, honestly. Trey will end up around $28,000,0000/annually and Stewart probably will Sign what the bengals want. Maybe the bengals make a slight concession RE: Trey Hendrickson Update - phil413 - 06-15-2025 Really hoping for a contract and not Trey saying he tried again and Katie being passive aggressive. The NFL is full of desperate GMs who are about to lose their jobs and all Trey needs is one or two to convince themselves they're one pass rusher away from a playoff run. Hold out for a 1st round pick. ![]() 2024 10 Best NFL defensive ends: Myles Garrett, T.J. Yeah if we're talking year 1 being a raise this year, next year fully guaranteed and the next year half guaranteed sounds about right. The EDGE market is only going to get higher and higher the longer they wait. RE: Trey Hendrickson Update - sandwedge - 06-15-2025 (06-15-2025, 02:48 PM)cinci4life Wrote: Well some good news. Needs to be at least in the 30s so you are in the ballpark of Crosby at 35 million. Crosby is generally regarded as a better all around DE than Hendrickson and is 3 years younger at age 27 while Hendrickson is 30. The bengals hired a great defensive coordinator...added players in the draft and FA...even though you may not like them....defense with hendrickson was bad last year and if you hinestly believe that one player..is gonna make or break this defense...good luck with that RE: Trey Hendrickson Update - Nicomo Cosca - 06-15-2025 (06-15-2025, 02:55 PM)Sled21 Wrote: Hold out for a 1st round pick. He’s completely unproven as a DC at the NFL level. RE: Trey Hendrickson Update - Isaac Curtis: The Real #85 - 06-15-2025 (06-15-2025, 02:55 PM)Sled21 Wrote: Hold out for a 1st round pick. Yeah, that would be cool if getting sacks was all a defensive end is supposed to do, but they also need to show up in the run game. That's where Trey drops. Yep, and next year when he is up for a new contract, he should get that. I think a 12 million dollar raise this year is more than fair. RE: Trey Hendrickson Update - Isaac Curtis: The Real #85 - 06-15-2025 Get this done & the Shemar thing resolved before camp, that way: 1) We hit the ground running at camp. No distractions with everyone healthy and Stewart learning from Trey. 2) We'll have exact numbers on the cap forcthis year (and the major deals for the next couple). So IF we want to add (IOL, S, CB, etc), we know how much we have to play with. |
