It doesn't matter who our QB is. We are somewhat an anomaly. Teams that make the postseason are normally either well coached with average talent or average coaching with above average talent. We are poorly coached/managed with above average talent. Able to overcome poor playcalling and decisions when playing lesser talented teams. However, every opponent we've lost to in the post season and in prime time has had way better coaching. We are consistently outclassed and out coached. Explains why Palmer wanted out because he figured it out from the inside and he's now playing at his best with a great coach with Arians. It's a shame because Marvin can now use Andy's injury as a crutch and we will be stuck with him and this group of clowns all next year while our window closes. Who's up next? Wenning? So which QB do we keep if Wenning wins the Super Bowl? Numerous times. How many times did McCarron realize he should audible to a different protection as a blitzer was showing he was coming? Zero. And they were taking way to damn long to get to the line to run a play. Leaving almost no time for audibles. I can see the headlines now: "Winning with Wenning" or "Bengals Jubilant on Wenning Wildcard playoff game" ![]() RE: Dalton likely not going to play in the wildcard round - Johnny Cupcakes - 12-29-2015 McCarron has played surprisingly well. Those who say that we have no chance with him are really just being dramatic. He didn't melt under the pressure of a prime time game....can't say that's common around here. Maybe he will perform similarly in a playoff game. |
