Adeniji is definitely MUCH better at T than G.

people were really laughing When I suggested the line would be better if Collins went to LG, and Adeniji moved to RT

Definitely....but T is the position he played at Kansas, so....

RE: PFF Grades - Week 7 - BFritz21 - 10-24-2022

Hope the line keeps improving because the sky's the limit if they do!

Even if they do have a solid rest of the year, I hope we still go all-out to improve it in the offseason because Burrow's worth it.

Tufele impressed me! He's a force and gets pressure! Hopefully his ceiling is even higher and he ends up being great!

Playing out of position in high profile games against top notch talent can make you look worse than you really are.

The first NFL game that Joe Burrow was not sacked was Adeniji's first career start against Tennessee at LT. Watching Locked On Bengals when he came back from injury last year and filled in at RG, it was kind of a last minute thing for him. The Bengals didn't expect Carman to struggle so Adeniji was still prepping for playing T until shortly before coming back when the Bengals asked him to focus on RG. When he came back and was inserted in the starting lineup in practice, they had less mistakes and they had less stoppages of practice to explain the play to Carman. This gave them smoother run sessions that now had about 10-12 more snaps per practice and the results eventually showed at the end of the season.

I laughed at people saying they never wanted to see him in stripes again. You need guys on their rookie deals in order to keep your big money guys. For a 6th rounder to stick around into his third season and probably a 4th season next year says something. He's only 24 years old with starts at multiple positions on the line and has post season experience. Sounds like a guy I'd like to have coming off of the bench.

I don’t revile him the way most do, but that was a really, really bad brain lapse yesterday. That can’t happen.

That 75-yard TD pass was just the first part of a terrible ending to the 1st half. Only 49 seconds left, ball on the Falcon's 25, and still the Bengals managed to give up 10 points. First the TD pass, then they give the ball back with 20 seconds left, and allow a punt return that takes the Falcons all the way to FG range.

RE: PFF Grades - Week 7 - Go Cards - 10-24-2022

Wonder if Zac's brother told him about Tufele after waiving him ?

If so, thanks brother, we owe you one.

Wanted Pryor to make the 53 but a great trade off Tufele for Pryor

Not to mention he is emerging at the perfect time for the Bengals

PFF loves them some Jonah.

RE: PFF Grades - Week 7 - Synric - 10-24-2022

I'd like to know where all 3 sacks were blamed according to PFF because Jonah Williams scored really high but I'm positive he gave up a sack.

If I had to guess one on Jonah, one on Collins, and maybe one on Burrow?

I don;t over analyze play calling but we should have been in a deep 3 cover with that amount of time left.. that would have protected any breakdown of a bad play like Apple had

Jonah and Cappa are the only ones listed in blocking so i'd guess they gave one to Burrow.

I’m no mathematician, but I think you could definitely do worse than a 41.2 in coverage. I’d have to imagine most of the Falcons CB’s graded out worse for that game.

Surprisingly, no.

That's the problem with PFF. One team barely gives up 100 passing yards and the other team gives up almost 500 yet the ratings are virtually the same or better for the team that almost gave up 500.

Make it make sense.
