Hayes is coaching the East West Shrine game this year.
It makes you wonder if Hayes is a big part of the scouting process because he always seems to be involved with the events.

He definitely has a big say in scouting. He pushed for Gresham in 2010. His brother and Marvin have been friends for a very long time, so John has been friends with Marvin for a long time by default.
