There is a lot you can do when personnel is multiple.
Noah Fant just adds the peice that makes the TE room and rhe whole offense more multiple with his versatility. It opens up more personnel packages and route combinations they just don't have with Sample and Gesicki. It adds a blocker in space for both Chase's as you suggested and gives them an opportunity to create 7 and even 8 man blocking surfaces.

Yeah, i'm kinda surprised at how excited i am about this signing with what it can do for an already really good offense. I'd imagine the coaches have to be absolutely giddy.

Around 21 or 22 million to get roster to 53 and injury fund of 4 to 5 million. So Fant money + Trey money or they could structure Trey 2025 bonus to hit in later years if they choose giving them a lot of cap space still

I don't think the contract details have been released yet. But Spotrac says the Bengals have 30 million left. I can't image Fant's contract put much of a dent in that. As usual I could be wrong though.

Yeah we really have done a good job of getting TEs paid. So I could see a reasonable 1 year deal that gives him an opportunity to get a decent contract next year.

His hit last year was 7.5M. I think it was set to be around 10M this year. I'd expect it to be 5-7--if there was any bidding war and if the Bengals really wanted him--or it could be as low as 3M if he was looking hard at the Bengals.

It hs been crickets on the Will Hernandez front from everybody...not even any rumors. It may be that GMs might be thinking that just because he is medically cleared, he may not be ready to practice or play
