If I counted correctly, there are still 3 open slots to reach 90 but I'm sure roster guru Isaac Curtis: The Real #85 will let us know for sure''

Eric Miller the Tackle out of Louisville is another tall one at 6'8". Maybe Noah Cain RB LSU can be that pounder we need.

Love getting Austin McNamara, I think he will win the Punter job. He is better than Robbins by far.

Besides McNamara, I think Aaron Casey has the best chance to make the 53 because of his special teams prowess and Bailey not being back.

Good point Holic on Casey with the Bailey loss. Sucks losing Bailey, dude was always good for us when called upon.

The Saints (I think is the team) got a good one, was surprised we let Markus go.

For me the only real shots are:

1) Mcnamara-P- pretty realistic with how bad Robbins was last year.

2) Casey-LB, if we decide to go with 5, new ST rules this year.

3) Noah Cain-RB- just has to beat Chris Evans.

That most definitely is a name that you'd like to see on your Superbowl winning 53. Imagine a picture of Lombardi, hoisting the Lombardi...

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Ah, thanks Wedge. Too bad for Markus, that team is pretty bad. Hope he does well though, good player and a good man.

Really appreciated what he said to the Bengals and the fans when he left. All class is Markus Bailey.

We had 11 draft picks, so I don't know if anyone other than the Punter has any decent chances of being on the 53-man when Week 1 comes around.

Last year we had 8 draft picks and I am pretty sure 0 UDFAs made the final roster cuts.

I am trying to think of the last UDFA who wasn't a specialist that made the 53-man cuts for Week 1. Mitchell Wilcox in 2020? Just hard for me to get excited over a UDFA unless they're a specialist (P, K, LS... might include FB too) or a real high profile player that went undrafted for specific reasons (Burfict).

McNamara has the best chance to make the roster. If we does, this will be the 3rd yr in a row that the incumbent was replaced.

We have 4 LBs practically guaranteed a spot. Casey has to beat out Harper and Heyward for the 5th spot.

If they think they can turn Cole Burgess into a potential NFL player he likely battles for a practice squad spot this year and is a candidate for WR5 or WR6 next season if we do not tag Higgins again along with TI's situation. He will be competing with Lassiter, Jackson and Pryor for a PS spot.

Cain or Collins must be extra, extra impressive to make this roster. I think it is absolutely possible that Sample is counted as the 4th RB allowing us to keep 4 TE's assuming All is healthy and McLachlan show promise. Evans is finally out?

Other hotly contested positions:

Josh Newton will be battling Allan George for the 6th roster spot. Unless we pick up a vet CB.

5 DTs will mean Carter is competing against Tufele or Dominique Davis for last DT spot that will likely be inactive on game days.

Can Cedric Johnson push Sample or Ossai? Doubt it, but slim maybe?

Free Agency ain't over until it is over.

First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats

If I have everyone counted correctly, we are at 87. There were a couple deviations from the original 14 reported. No more than 1-2. I believe there was a WR from Ohio & another safety initially. The WR from Sparty and one other would be the swaps.

Mcnamara has a chance if there is a real competition. There is more to the job than just distance and unfortunately I think Robbins probably has the inside track. He already has established rapport with Adomitis and Mcpherson. We’ll see if Simmons can take a chance and move on; remember how much he loved Brandon Tate before Erickson finally won the returner job.
